About

Who I am

I am an instructional designer with a passion for building impactful learning solutions that blend creativity with strategy. My extensive background in visual arts taught me the value of process and intentional problem-solving, which I carry into each solution I design. My time in non-profit program coordination sharpened my project management and collaboration skills, while my years as an educator deepened my love for helping people learn and grow. Today, I bring all of these experiences together to create innovative learning and enablement programs that drive performance, improve communication, and empower individuals to reach their full potential.

My approach

I always put people at the center of my process. To design solutions that are effective and engaging, I rely on my innate empathy and active listening skills to get to the heart of the challenges people are facing. Once a solution is identified, I  use a highly collaborative and iterative design approach that incorporates user testing and data analysis. This results in a learner-centric product that responds adaptively as needs change.

How we will work together

I believe wholeheartedly that good design is deeply collaborative, and effective communication is the foundation of my work. I am dedicated to building authentic relationships with peers, subject matter experts, and stakeholders to ensure that our solutions serve audiences across the business, and that we all can enjoy and learn from the process of working together. I aim to bring positivity and to build up the teams that I join.

What we can accomplish

I am all about growth and results! If you or your organization would like to leverage modern learning experiences that help people reach their full potential, I am confident that we can design a compelling solution.

A Little More...

My husband and I live in Kansas City with our dog, Denny! We recently got married in our favorite place- Glen Arbor, Michigan. When I'm not spending time with our little family, I enjoy taking on DIY projects around our house, experimenting with different fitness classes, leading art workshops for kids, and taking our pup to the lake! I come from a long line of artists, engineers, and educators, and believe deeply in the power of a growth mindset. I feel strongly that with enough iced coffee and a good YouTube video, I can accomplish much of what I set out to learn. Most importantly, I am highly motivated by my relationships with others, and I do my best work in environments built on kindness, humor, and integrity.
